All About Miss Sluka
I have been substitute teaching in Independence since I graduated from the University of Akron in 2010. This year I am excited to be teaching science to grades 1-3. My dad has been a science teacher at the middle school for many years, so I am happy to be following in his footsteps. I can't wait to explore and discover new things with the students this year.
I come from a very close family and I love spending time with my dad, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We have great times traveling together and having family parties. Also, I have a black lab names Coal. He is a big baby, but very loving.
In my free time, I enjoy doing a variety of different things. My favorite things to do are travel and photography, which I try to do as often as I can. Some of my favorite places to vacation are Disney World, New York City, Utah, Washington D.C., Austria, Germany, and Italy. I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to explore many different places and take pictures along the way. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, swimming, and watching movies.
Here are pictures of some of my favorite places!
